Laser scanning for land surveys allows for three-dimensional topographic data acquisition (geological assessments, ground stability surveys, feasibility studies for tourism equipment projects…) without contact and at high speeds by using a laser beam and a fast sweep mechanism.
This technique lowers costs by reducing the time spent on site and to process the data. It also lowers exposure time to natural hazards for personnel in the field and improves the quality and precision of the resulting analysis.
